Shri Jyoti Sewa Mission was launched in 2002 (18 years ago), and we have never looked back. In Uttarakhand, we have been working with the downtrodden and underprivileged segments of society. With over eight years of experience in the field of social service, we have come out with flying colours, particularly in the lower stratum of society, to respond to the needs of the community through numerous multi-faceted projects.

We are well prepared to take on challenging issues to meet the strategic and socioeconomic concerns of the underprivileged sections of society because of our ongoing involvement with community members at the grass-roots level. With the projects carried out & in hand, our organization has sharp & consistent approach in capacity building, upliftment of the poor, management of issues related to women & child development, social welfare, health and hygiene & with specific spotlight on HIV AIDS, internship program for those who want to learn new things with us about our social activities, plantation to spread the greenery all over the world, provide home and shelter for our respective citizen, gaushala to protect cows and take care of them, organic farming to provide healthy foods and also to provide employment to farmers, ayurvedic herbs and medicines, we also believe in yoga and meditation to make yourself healthy and wealthy, technical education centre for those who want to be learn new technologies and want to update themselves with the passive of time.

While working under extremely challenging conditions, the organisation was able to develop links and involve the community in all of our efforts in order to provide exposure and continue the activities undertaken amongst them. Furthermore, the ideology and approach of our organisation with cross-sections of the community has empowered us in environment building, making us a key source of taking on uphill and most difficult tasks.

To a significant extent, the relationship with donor agencies has evolved as good and amicable as a result of the focused & proper approach & perceptions to the sanctioned projects.
